    Ok Guy,s & Gals
Been in the trucking Business for over 20 years. Never had a desire to own a Truck. But Have had a few Bad Employers the past couple years. After resigning From a great gig in 06 started my own Business which was great for 7 years. Now back to Trucking, like i said Crappy Employers.
So have been in talks with Bruce Oakley.I live in AR,so home time not a issue. The Pay seems fair with them. Find good and Bad with them. Like Any other Company's. Not looking into New Purchase just later model, 2010 maybe. Any one have experience with them or offer some friendly advice. Credit Score a little challenged but have a decent down payment.
So a truck should be no problem.

I almost joined them a couple of years ago but when the guy told me I had to buy a blower for $7K I baulked.
Granted they will finance it but at their rates of pay, I think you could do better elsewhere IMHO.
Have you considered hauling chemicals? I think Oakley quoted me around $1.24 mile loaded, and whatever the rate was empty, I just don't see how you'd make $$ with those numbers. Plus FSC of course.
    Maybe I'm missing something here.
    Good luck.

    B. Oakley calls me every two or three months. I talked to them a while back to do end dump. It was $1.52 loaded/empty. Thats not bad, but its not great either. The PTO puts extra wear and tear on youre equipment, you will always be loaded heavy. From what I understand they are force dispatch, which as an O/O is not ok with me. These were the reasons I decided to not lease on to B. Oakley.

Oakley spends so much on advertising I just assume it is not anyplace to be excited about. I could be wrong but being a little suspicious has served me well over the years.

Yea have the Pay Packet. 3 Grand for for Wet Kit.Deducted @175 a week. End Dump @ $1.70 loaded, $1.50 empty. They say most guys average $2500 to $3000 grand a week. Going to try to catch some Drivers before i make a decision.
Any one have good advice on who would be good to lease to.

Supposed to be Average take home.
so truck payment and maintenance account will come from that.
Going to try to keep a payment of $1800 or less and stash $500 a week for maintenance.
