For you TomTom users with the Mapshare feature, has anyone out there been modifying maps to make them trucker friendly? i.e. Adding Truckstops as POI's and blocking roads with low overhangs.

I guess not. I just bought a tomtom 720 and will be using it for truck driving. I will be updating maps as I go. I didnt know you could block certain roads with mapshare. that sounds like a great feature. My tomtom will be here this week and I cant wait to starting figuring it all out.

Does the 720 have a truck setting?

Check out truck specific POI's for your TomTom or Garmin from the "POI Factory". You can download Low Clearances, Rest Areas, Independent Truck Stops, and major chain truck stops (Pilot, Petro, etc. etc.).
