Failed well partly. The 50 question general questions I got 70%. Passed the air brakes and combination questions. #### it slightly dissappointed but glad I passed 2 out of 3 tests. Questions I got wrong like what do you do when a car is coming at you with.high beams on? Slow down and look straight ahead or look at the outter edge markings on the road...I chose this. I was thinking if you are blinded with brights looking slightly away for a second would prevent you from being blinded temporarily. And you still see in front of you with your perrrrifffferrrralll vision. #### I was hoping to celebrate with good news on a Friday. Ah well.
What may make sense to do in reality may not be what they want to hear as that is what I do too if the lights are really bright. At least you know what to expect when you retake the test. Do the practice tests on this website repeatedly and when you have those memorized you should be good to go.
Unfortunately you opted for the logical answers. These standardized tests are never logical. When you answer you need to pick the one that some bureaucrat thinks is correct. Always keep that in mind and you'll ace it ahen you retake it.
So that is the right answer? Maybe I did get it right. Honestly I don't remember what I got wrong cause I got frustrated and quickly moved to the next question after it said I was wrong. They shouldn't show what you get wrong until the end because it discourages you. I should have read the correct answers to the questions I got wrong. Either way I'm studying everything general knowledge anyway to be prepared for next time.
You are in PA, aren't you? They are known to have more than one correct answer to a question. The trick is to pick whichever one some goon behind a desk thinks is correct. Even if it don't make sense. Did you do the practice questions in the CDL manual? If you use those, they give the correct answer in the back of the book, and those questions are the ones on the actual test. Best of luck
Yes PA. I have the manual and studied some out of that but I didn't look in the back I will check it out thanks. I have apps for CDL practice tests and just did an online one 50 question general knowledge. Funny I passed with 6 questions wrong just now.
Not sure about PA, but in AL we can skip questions we aren't sure about and they'll come back around after the rest have been answered, or skipped. I skipped a few during my testing and some I never saw the question because I passed the test before they could come back around. I'm with you on the part they shouldn't tell you that you missed the question until the test is over.
