I don't get it. I have a perfectly clean slate, no accident history. I only have a about 1.2 years driving experience, but I've heard they hire grads right from CDL school...

    what gives?

Try following up with the Terminal Manager with a phone call.

It happens sometimes. Years ago I was trying to get on with Air Products. I would go to the local terminal and fill out an app, and the terminal mgr would look it over while we chatted, said he'd be in touch if they were going to interview me, then when I'd follow up after a week, he'd apologize and say they went with someone else. I had a squeaky clean record, six years in a tanker, and excellent references

What I did NOT have was the tall, lean, "speed freak" build that the TM had, along with all the other drivers I saw. I was in good shape back then, just "short n stocky".

Was that the problem? Maybe, but I could not have proven it. Sometimes one just doesn't hit it off with a prospective employer.
