tripac evolution temperature probe issues

So I was having an random issue with my tripac evolution.

Every once in a while the WT1 (engine water temp) would climb into the upper200's.
This was an erroneous reading.
I replaced the water temp sensor, and for 2 months its worked perfect.... until yesterday. Now again, its reading 275degrees.

Is this a known issue, that has a known fix?

 

Sounds like the new sensor has failed if it was ok for 2 months
