    Hey guys-
Looking for some reminders - I'm pulling my truck out of storage and getting it leased on to a carrier. The big issue is the truck is parked in So Cal, and i'm leasing on to one of three options back east (FL, VA)

I have title, but no insurance or current registration. 2290 either. i'll be getting that as soon shortly.

What are my options to legally drive it across state lines(CA to VA or FL) prior to getting new carriers plates etc?

    single trip insurance?

any guidance would be , of course, Awesome! :biggrin_25514:

not sure about all states but I know in iowa if you have not at least had the truck county plated you will have to pay back the fees to when it was last licensed.

    oh wow! stress relief complete!!

transmid america provides what is called a "hunter's permit" that allows the vehicle to travel from state to state (unladen-'ie; no trailer) for 45 days. $61 bucks.
so with the bobtail insurance_good for 5 days at OOIDA, $77, i'm good to roll it to new carrier.

    Legal....whewwwwwww
