Wow. I live 10minutes drive from this place. This is the parkway I use very often.

Some people are just reckless! I cringe and slow down every time I have to go under a 13'6, if I see an unmarked bridge I start sweating bullets. This guy passed numerous low clearance signs and didn't even tap his brakes once.

Come on now really, he knew he would fit under it, one way or another and he did fit under it even made it to the other side, nobody said the load didn't have to make it.

Way to go! lol..oh well, the problem in NY an NYC is the bridges are never measured for actual height, i.e. a sign might say 12'6" under a subway EL while the actual height is 13'9" in many cases.

The yellow 13'3 sign (in NY) ment 14'3 . The white sign is the real height !

True but they also warn drivers not to b on parkways because of low bridges. There's only a small section we can travel on in NJ. Rest are forbidden. Just look how close he was to other bridges.

I'm tired of these "Trucker hits bridge" stories....

Let's hear a "Bridge hits Trucker" story! Just think about it....Trucker with history of hitting bridges goes under an overpass, and all of the sudden a big metallic/concrete fist pops out and whacks'im a good one! Right through the driver's side winder, just a right hook outta nowhere!

    Now that would be interesting....
