Trucking co involved in fatal accident in Terrell tx still operating illegally post crash

The FMCSA simply does not do their job.
Look at the story he did of around 700 carriers all having the same mailing address, which was a small rinky dink little empty building. The workers there are complacent & entitled. How does Hope even have insurance? I would think a fatal crash would be the end of a small company especially if it was their fault.

 

The company that they got the US Postal Service load from that they were hauling when this guy killed those people in Terrell Texas was covenant transport… Now covenant is being looked at and so should the US Postal Service… These carriers are not being vetted either

In order to enforce, they need staff.

 

So if carrier411 can show duplicate/related owner names, phone numbers, address, insurance, ect with just computer programs but the DOT needs live people to do the same thing?

 

What they really need is people to do their job. I’m pretty sure 14% of the staff it’s probably deadweight… There’s a lot of government workers who just simply show up clock in and don’t do a #### thing and millions of Americans can vouch for that

 

Apparently they had staff and still didn't enforce. So, what's choice 'B'?

 

Heck ya FMCSA doesn't want to do their job, they want that easy paycheck and government pension after 20 years.. They only mess with compliant carriers, they're not chasing anybody down.. we will see with Duffy..
