I posted this in the International forum but didn't get many replies so I thought I'd try here. I have a '07 9900ix with a ACERT cat(with the catalytic type muffler), dual exhaust and a muffler mounted under the cab. Like this Kenworth style but mine is a 5" in/6" out.

I want to replace the stock muffler with something less restrictive and would like something that is close to plug and play but all I can find is one from Pittsburgh Power. That one is just a big U shaped pipe but it is designed for Internationals. I know PP is overpriced but it looks like this is my only option unless I want to fab up a bunch of stuff which I'm trying to stay away from since the rest of my exhaust piping is new and I want to keep it.

Anyone use the PP muffler like this one[IMG]and have any feedback on it? Should a guy get the quiet version or the regular version. I don't mind a little bit of extra drone but don't want it to be noticeably louder than stock.

Check the www.donaldson.com, they are the same mufflers that Pittsburgh Power sells, but Pittsburgh rebrands it.

Checked them, along with Grand Rock and anyone else that showed up on a search and they don't have anything close to what I need in terms of design and size. The KW one from Donaldson that I pictured above is as close as I found but I need a 6" outlet to work with my Y pipe. I might just have to bite the bullet and go with the PP muffler.
