Trying to get a local job

    I'm out here in the Wichita KS area, but its been a real pain trying to find something that isn't OTR. I got my CDL class A back in September, then went to work gathering endorsments. Airbrakes, combination, doubles/triples, tanker, manual, even got twic. As of now, my back ground check for HAZ is still being processed. I've been getting poor luck finding employment though indeed. Lately I've been contacting cement and trash companies through phone calls and their websites for the past week, but it's too soon to say if anything is really working.

    Is there something else I could be doing to find a local job? Or am I cursed to spend 4 weeks over the road every 34 hour reset?
