update on my 359 project.

for those that haven't been following along in other places i thought you might want to see some pictures.
first a couple pictures from when i picked up the truck.

















and then the accent color went on this evening tomorrow the body color and clear will go on

That was a bad spot for those trucks, under the doors, too. Lot of work, hey? But look what you have. Always liked those air cleaner bonnets, my truck had the "garbage can covers". I couldn't find those bonnets anywhere. I knew a guy that had a truck just like that, only black fenders. Way to go, man

I've actually watched some of your videos. That truck was roooough when you picked it up. Nice to see you're making progress on it.

 

Base coat is down now. Got in too much of a hurry. And tried to pile the 2nd coat of base on too soon and probably spaying a bit too heavy as well and paint wrinkled up on a couple spots around the drivers door. That set me back a few hours but got it fixed. Waiting to make sure base has plenty of time to flash off before I clear....lol. I can't wait to see it with clear coat on though
