How, and when, can you use the Mac 30? We were given a load at P&G in Neeleys Landing last night. Get up here and didn't have the proper PU#. Spent all night trying to get it, then they took us off the load (it was a nice one to Oxnard, CA) and put us on a dinky 500 mile load that picks up Monday morning. Called Phoenix again this morning (Memphis refuses to answer phones or qualcomm) and got put back on the load, only to be taken off again and put back on the dinky one. After numerous phone calls I found out that that load was still not ready and that was why there was no PU# for it...........So now we are doing a 34 in the parking lot of a Pizza Inn on the corner of I55 and watching Swift trucks coming and going to P&G. Also, the other day we were able to deliver our load early, tried the Mac 30, and got the message back that we couldn't use it because we were delivering before our appt. time (it was a drop and hook). Any help would be greatly appreciated because we are not very happy right now.
Hey Girl, You can use the MAC 30 18 hours prior to your PTA. If you have a drop and hook that you know that you will be delivering early and your PTA is going to be way past that, MAC 30 still looks at that PTA. My DM says that there is something in the system. Now your DM can re-adjust your delivery times and PTA and somethimes that will work.
Thanks guys. We are doing our best to stay running, but it's kinda hard. Right now we are waiting on a Dedicated account to get started and then that will help out. It's supposed to be around 6K a week, running out of the Los Angeles area.
Insist on detention pay for the whole night. You were where you were suppose to be and on time. It's not your fault the blind chimps banging on the keyboard screwed up and you shouldn't have to pay for their incompetence.
What is the O/O detention pay anyway? I just spent over 21 hours at a Rubbermaid plant in KS, and it was joke. And is the mac 30 system in my opinion.
you get paid 30 an hour for max 8 hours after your first 2 free hours....what are you doing waiting 21 hours for?????????....make something happen!...u lost 11 hours.....
There was nothing I could do, there were at any given time about 12 trucks waiting in line, Winfield, KS at Rubbermaid. They claimed at first it was some kind of computer glitch, but I figured it was just that they were waiting on stock to finish load. Oh well...its only about a once a year thing to have such a wait, so I should be good until next year some time hopefully. lol
Oh no ... don't ever do that again ... if they can't load you after 10hrs, bounce and demand and demand a new load.
We didn't get our detention money for waiting all night. Payroll said that because we were taken off the load that our DM has to submit a request for us. We told her and now we are waiting. We did get detention for having to wait on another load Monday for over 10hrs, tho, so that was nice, especially since our first truck payment is coming out of this check.
