I wrote about this the other day in the thread linked below but I'll put a little more here for others to see now that I know more.

    6 tires and counting

I stopped at the 49er truck stop off I-75 near London KY this past Tuesday night (5/2/23) for a 10.

Next morning the whole saga in the thread above happened.

Well, when I went to have tires looked at they figured out that they were all sidewall punctures, several holes in small groups on each tire. So, I knew now I had been vandalized. I called the truck stop and they verified that a bunch of trucks were hit that night and that KY State Police were looking at it.

Since then I've got a police report with at least 10 others and there is an investigator on the case. Between 9 pm and 7 am some worthless human took out everyone's tires. Not just outers on one side either, some had all tires punched and some had inflation hoses cut and damaged too I'm told.

As soon as I found out all this with the police and the tire shop I started an insurance claim for vandalism and headed to my trailer lot to check my trailer (which was giving me an inflation light coming home but I couldn't find anything). After it had been sitting for a couple days ALL EIGHT tires completely flat.

That makes 13 tires lost on my rig. One guy lost 17 tires.

We still have no idea how it was done since it ain't easy to puncture a truck tire sidewall.

I sure hope that person gets caught. They will probably do it again.
Someone's dash cam should have video of people walking around.
