I was thinking of a co worker years back. Who dozed then overcorrected when the rumble strips woke him, and he launched in the air over the other side of the road. And his airbag never deployed. Then i started think about other wrecked Volvos ive seen, and i dont think ive ever seen air bag outside the center of the steering wheel.... So do volvos have airbags or just a steering wheel middle thats says Airbag ?
They have airbags. Trucks get wrecked everyday and it would be common knowledge. If any OEM was trying to skip airbags they would be sued out of business immediately. Volvos are historically one of the the safest vehicles made. Doesn't matter if you (or me) likes Volvo commercial trucks or not, it's still true. Volvo, BMW and Merc always have topped the charts but the Asian imports have gotten there in the past few years.
