I have an issue with the Volvo VNL. If I am trying to make a turn from a dead stop or low speed, I lose throttle response midway through the turn. Once the steer wheels are close to straight, all is fine again. No lights on the dash come on. No issues when driving otherwise. I do have a brake fault MID 136 SID 69 FMI 2. Not sure if its related or not. Any help is greatly appreciated. 2011 Volvo

Since no one took a stab at this..i don't know about the codes. But, does it matter which way you are turning? Turning puts a sort of twist on cab and truck. Could be a wire somewhere slightly rubbing. Or a throttle sensor on your accelerator. But woud think it would act up going straight or turning.

It does it regardless which way I am turning. It has to be a turn from a dead stop or very low speed. I get halfway through the turn and lose throttle response until the steer tires are closer to straight, then all is fine. I am thinking it has to do with the steering angle sensor not playing well with speed sensors.

Not sure about steer angle sensors. Mayby stop at a volvo shop and speak with the shop manager. You may luck out and find a decent guy that will give you a few minutes to discuss this crazy issue. I have done this, and i try to make it brief and polite . Some will and some won't but keep trying, mayby at another shop as time allows.

Yes most likely steer Angle sensor is acting up the code is actually for load sensor. You need to move steering wheel to replace and also need to program

I got a CR-HD which live reads brake data. It turns out my right steer wheel sensor is giving no data. all others fluctuate with speed on the graph except one. My steering angle sensor appeared to be working correctly.
