In my experience it the sensor on the end of the transmission sensor where the Yoke is where the driveline hooks up a round one sometime hard to pull out dont be surprised if you break a few some call it the speedometer sensor but don't know the official name for it but in my experience that's what it was hope it helps.
Then hold up the break pedal with your foot and try it cause volvo has those problems I put a small bungy cord to hold mine up...
check clutch pedal switch and brake pedal switch. If you see brake light is off when pedal releases it does not mean brake pedal switch is ok, becouse brake loght is controled by pressure switch
never had a code and the controls always work when parked BUT mine will do that from time to time....... what i do is when driving hit the brakes quick then lift the brake pedal then it starts working like it should for days/ weeks/ months.... it's done it 4 times in the last 2 years, remember that when the dealer is checking it they are doing it when it's parked, and all the controls work when parked, you need to find a dealer that will do a ride along and have their laptop plugged in when YOU are driving
