I thought you had to wait a year before you can transfer to another DC?

He was part of the 250 mile realignment. The 1 year requirement did not apply as this was company mandated. Normal transfers do have a 1 year requirement.

Friday I start my first week on my own. I ran a 6/3 during training and liked it. I think there's a good chance I'll catch a 6/3 program before too long. We have a lot of drivers that could retire at any time. Remembering when and what to send on the obc is the hardest thing for me right now.
This thread has died down quite a bit. I hope everyone is well. Be safe.

    drozzer69 and noninetofive Thank this.

Just wondering if any Walmart drivers can answer this question. After the very lengthy hiring process I was given the formal job offer a month ago but now I am not going to get my hazmat endorsement in the 60 day window from my conditional job offer. Will they extend that time frame. I know the new policy is 120 days but HR at the DC is saying because I applied when the policy was 60 that's what Walmart will hold me to.

Probably at the discretion of the GTM. I would think if there are guys behind you waiting with their hazmat they may bypass you in the process. Really hard to say.

They will probably want to know, but if it was on the old standard, you may be held to it. GTM may say otherwise however

thanks for the response. Not holding my breathe. It seems like a good job but I won't go through the process over again if that's the response they give me.

Made it once, why not again if needed? What prevented you frome doing it in 69 days? If this job is important enough, call the local HR and find out, the answers here are mostly speculation.
