Was my Prostar just in a fatal accident? Sure looked like it-worst design, ever!

Oil leak in the valve covers, bad enough to put in the shop.

I went down to the shop today to grab another piece of luggage out of it, and I swear to God the interior looked like 5 people would have died in the accident that must have happened! To put in a new valve cover gasket, the whole front of the cab has to be torn out. Just unbelievable!

Sorry, I didn't take pictures, I was literally in shock, but believe me, it looked like it had been wrecked. Note: not bashing the shop or the mechs, just the idiots that designed this POS.

In some ways, it is a very fine truck, but, in so many other areas, it is unbelievably bad.

    Sorry for the rant.

Been shopping for a truck. Look at TruckPaper.Com, U will see tons with less than 100K miles for dirt cheap. Spoke to a few mechanics and they told me why. Their a POS, unless they get several things replaced like turbo and stuff. But not worth buying and replacing all those parts. Was very costly. I'm leaning toward Volvo/Pete/KW/Shaker........
