Or it needs to be serviced / cleaned. I had the same issue with an Espar.

Have you tried turning it up a few degrees once it’s running good? Sometimes that will coaxe a few hours out of them. Other than that, it’s time for a service check.

    izifaddag Thanks this.

If you have ruled out the obvious, you can take it somewhere and have them read the stored codes. My espar was acting the same way and it turned out my fan was bad.

Sure it's not just the thermostat doing what it's supposed to do? Just like your furnace at home, it doesn't just turn on in the fall and run until spring.
My wabasto comes on and off all night. Although the fan still runs really slow in between .

My Webasto came with the truck - year 2009. I don't trust a diesel burning device below my bed while I am asleep so I don't use it when asleep - would rather idle. I've never done any maintenance to it, even though it works fine but the air it blows always feels smelly (not fresh like from regular dashboard vents) and heavy - not exhaust but I think it must be rather old filters, giving me headaches after a longer time of breathing it. I guess I should call the manufacturer or at least find a manual and see what is needed for maintenance.
