There’s a bunch of these same city loads in my area right now. I see a fair amount all times of the year but wayyyy more now. How do these normally work? LTL or being loaded both ways from the same customer or like out and backs to the same hub multiple times? I’m assuming the greater amount of them has to do with the holidays but that’s only a guess. Can anyone chime in?

I would just give them a call & find out the details of the load. Beware of the bait & catch.

Most I’ve seen are power only delivering to the manufacturer’s customers or your trailer doing plant to plant moves.
Be sure to find out how many days you will be tied up from start to finish.

Those are either auto parts or LTL carrier holiday overflow.

My guess is it's LTL. It will be for a day or a week. LS has agents posting that crap, it will be $6300 and you call, its 2500 miles over 5 days.

Good Morning, I’m a dispatcher- when I call on loads like that, it’s many loads from one company. The holidays and backlog of everything looks like this on the load board. When you contact them, (if you want) see what running that back and forth looks like. DON’T LET THEM SHORT CHANGE YOU! They need you guys

I once called on one of those and they were basically looking for a yard jockey with their own truck for a daily pay. I told them to post it as a job opening, not on a loadboard, and trucks are sold by truck dealers.

Those are probably UPS loads. They have a yard in Maumee/Perrysburg

You could of had your answer in less than 60 seconds if you called the broker.

If its a land star load. Its some times agents listing loads for some one like FedEx. And Usally needs a doubles endorsement.
