None of the above. Give us a few minutes and the experienced drivers on here will have some better ideas.

Old Dominion Freight Lines - linehaul position - Sylvester,GA

    • 1 year previous tractor trailer driving experience and/or be a graduate of a State Certified and Licensed truck driving school, acceptable to Old Dominion and/or have satisfactorily completed the Old Dominion truck driver training program.

Don’t hold your breath on getting home every 2 weeks. If you do OTR you get 1 day home for every 1 week driven. So 4 days home only comes after 4 weeks out. No company will be routing you home every 2 weeks. But recruiters will tell you they can.

In my opinion, do 1 year out in the big open road doing 48 states. Then you can get a much better job. But don’t settle for the worst companies out there (like the ones you listed). If you can handle flatbed you can instantly earn more than most drivers.
