Long term disability will not look good with any trucking co. About 1 month with a trucking co will not look good either.

Truck co's are very picky about any kind of disability, sickness, unemployment gaps, etc, etc. Many co's weed out a lot of these in orientation. You might get a prehire only to find your riding back home on a bus.

When a person has long term disability, unfortunately it raises red flags in the trucking industry.

YOUR CDL is good till it expires but you would have to renew your medical card by a DOT physical.
