Maybe if you give us an idea of areas you would like to run? reefers, van or flatbeds??? How long away from home??? How's your record as far as points, CSA likewise.... That is a very broad question and narrowing it down may help.

Heyl for reefer in Zephyr Hills, requires 1 year I believe, some good threads on here about them.

I'm sure with some other info more will jump in to. Good luck and happy hunting!!!

I would check into UZ Transport for Reefer. Nice trucks and a good owner. Lessors requires one yr I believe and Heyl requires six months.

I'm also looking for something out of that area(tampa, florida). I have one year experience. Mostly reefer and dry vans. Clean driving record. Even though I stay out for up to 4 months at a time over the road, I'm looking for something closer to home(southeast regional) so that I can have more home time and better pay. Something in the 40 cpm bracket. I'd like at least $1,000/ wk net. Right now, I do about $650/ wk net and it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Milage pay is OK, but also look at accessorial pays. .40 or .50 cpm looks good, but doesn't mean much if you're not getting the miles or accessorial pays.

Heyl Truck Lines - someone posted above.
Indian River Transport has some local.
    Windy Hill Transportation
Sunstate Carriers - home weekends usually.
    Oakley Transport - apu's
Lessors Inc. - trucks have Tripac apu's

X windy hill transport off the list as you'll be pulled into a scale due to their high ratings. I second Raven Transport as I see their trucks all the time in FL. What about Knight Transportation?? Other carriers include Honey Transportation. See their ads on CL.
