Okay, I'm fed up with the company I'm with. I'm thinking of seeking employment elsewhere. They got me held at a terminal just because I hit a tree branch. (Minimum damage to the tree, only scratches on the trailer, the owners didn't file a complaint, the police officer said that it wasn't worth filing a report due to minimum damage) I'm supposed to be on my way home, but I've been stuck here all day. This is the second time in a row they haven't been able to get me home for the weekend even though I'm supposed to get weekends off. Here's what I'm looking for:

    Minimum requirements:
Paperless logs, home at least once a month excluding vacation time, 100% no-touch freight, fairly-new trucks/trailers, at least $600/week.

    Maximum requirements:
Paperless logs, home every weekend, 100% no-touch freight, fairly-new trucks/trailers, up to $1500/week.

You should - for best results - list the area where you live and how much experience you have at the moment.

I started at Abilene a few months after completing my CDL School. I like it here and I think it would fall between your min/max criteria.

Look beyond the "Megas"... There are very good companies out there with a solid business model. Don't feel that your only option is the route of the Megas.

    Stay Safe,

I'm in the Allentown, PA area and have close to a year of experience. I have a tanker and doubles/tripples. Unfortunately, I was fired for too many accidents and am having trouble getting a new job. To be honest, I'm thinking of leaving trucking permanently, since I haven't had much luck with it. I recently got a learners permit for a passenger endorsement to see if I could get a job as a city bus driver.
