What is the newest scoop on the hire freeze?

    Hi everybody, I am a newbie here, just got my cdl 2 weeks ago.
    I was just wondering when do you guys think this hiring freeze is gonna be over?
    If any, is there a company out there right now that is actively recruiting new drivers?

    When the recession starts to loosen its grip, trucking will be the first to know it.

    They are the first to know there is a slow down coming, and will be the first to know things are looking up again.

    As for who is hiring.......... you are gonna have to do your own research and leg work on that one. You may easy apply to 20 or 30 outfits before getting hired in this economy.
