Stick to McDonald's/Wal-Mart. There is nothing for you here. You will not get to see your passion realized. You will get nothing short of bottom feeders that will take advantage of your desire to work. Come back next year.

Well please explain yourself in more detail.. What you get out of this forum, is what you make of it. If your the type who doesn't hear what you want to hear, and doesn't take to kindly to advice. One who thinks he know it all, then by all means just click on the little X in the upper right hand corner of your browser..

 

I never thought of this forum as a place to get a Job, I have though of it as a learning center and to align myself with drivers who are Like Minded with my personality. It has done all of that and more for me.

I stumbled across this site by accident some while back. I have found this site to be very helpful, informative, and have made friends here.

While some of the posts, I don't agree with some things the poster may have said, everyone here that I've come across are courteous, and respectful when disagreeing with me, or others. (and the ones who aren't, Nana gets her big, pointy stick after!! )

For me, this site gives back all I put into it, and then some.
If ya don't like it here, find someplace else more suitable to what you want.

I don't think the guy was saying he doesn't like the site. I think he was saying that he's only read negative things.

He just needs to pick and choose threads a bit more perhaps and maybe give it some more time? Or perhaps make a thread asking the questions he has?

I don't want anything. It was merely an observation. I'm not bucking for a job or looking to make friends. I lurk. Read posts and read more. A nice percentage have blatantly, obviously stated things the like of which are "Don't quit your day job." I'm not reading what I want. I'm reporting what I see.

Then why are you hear? If you don't want anything, are not looking for a job, friends, they why, why are you hear. I hope a mod locks you out, all your doing is wasting space on the server that one of the members own, operates and cares very much about.. The space that your taking can be better used, by someone who, wants help, and knowledge of being a good and successful truck driver..
