I'm wondering about the average rates and FC.

Where are the money loads at? Flat, Van,or Reefer? Are the rates over $3 a mile before FC or lower?

I get rates like that all the time pulling a dry van. I gouged a broker on a load of paper roll stock from southern AL to Detroit area for $3.65 gross per mile loaded only about 950 loaded miles before I knocked off for summer break. I didn't want the load but apparently no-one else did either it HAD to deliver on Friday morning before 8am I booked it around 16:00 on a Wednesday. Been amazed by the rates on several roll stock loads this year. You'd be surprised the kind of rates you can swing with a van when you play hardball with these brokers.

I am doing about 2200-2700 mile ,I only get 1.70 to 1.85 a mile.i not complaining because my load is super light,it add up to 2 compare to heavy load.right now I going to Lenexa is for 1.95 with just 12000 lbs.
