I'd be on Linux, if I could find programs to handle my work, but I can't so I'm stuck with the evil empires sad excuse for an op system.

I'm using XP. My daughter has tried Linux and found that it's great for database type stuff but wasn't tickled with it for graphic-intensive work. So she wound up with a Mac.

(Dang -- I think I clicked the Vista box by mistake! Grrr...)

I use XP on my HP laptop, but also have a G5 Mac and a G4 laptop both with Leopard OS X. Personally, I prefer the Mac's for their stability, less likelihood of picking up a virus, and ease of use.

I use XP on my home computer and Vista on my laptop. I really want to get rid of Vista. It is a giant piece of gargage.

I've been hearing this line ever since I was a computer configuration tech back in 1998.

I run XP Media Center Edition. I'm happy with it, but then I'm quite familiar with all the Microsoft operating systems except for Vista. I wouldn't touch that OS for all the oil in Saudi Arabia.

The one I use most has XP Professional, I keep on using it because my current laptop has Vista Business, the absolute worst of the crop. I have been thinking about going to Linux and have played with it a little, for what I would do it is adequate. I never had the urge to try Apple, even they havecaved in to Intel.

My son is in that business, designing and operating heavy duty server systems. He always liked to wait for the dust to settle on Microsoft's latest offering. My other son is probably sharper at it but his specialty is engineering and grad school, he doesn't advise anyone update a computer, no matter how current, to use the newest OS, he tried Vista on intro and went back to XP Media Center for home use. The guy in the business likes Macs as well but other computers are more durable for mobile use, he reccomends I stick with Windows for now

I use Vista and Linux on my laptop. I have dual hard drives so I made them two totally separate entities instead of having them share both. I mainly use Linux.
