ok so im in wisconsin a while back. leaving coca cola then going to pick up a load at mccain. i go to a light. gotta turn wide and take the other side of the street. 3 cars standing. a 18 yr old or so female. a older woman. and a douche bag man in a pickup. the females move back but the guy refuses to. so i almost hit the curb. very close to the pole as well. now im terrified from tight turns because i have no idea what to do when someone wont move back for me. the guy gave me a horrible look. like as if it was my fault. same thing happened to me in chicago. the lady refused to move. so i back up. got a huge yelling from my dad who drives for 14 years so far because i told him i backed up in city traffic. I was terrified. but i knew who was behind me. i did GOAL. but like do i get a ticket if i just stand there? im worried now.

    Nothing you can do really..
Either do what's necessary to complete turn without making them move,

Wait for them to move first.
Or just sit there until they get out of your way.

Swing it wide! I'm not sure why they gave you such a hard time, It is called a jug handle turn you swing left and then swing it back right, this puts your trailer tandems out a piece away from the curb so you can swing it. Not sure if your tandems will slide but slide them if the load is not to heavy, Pretty much anything to get it done. I'm not the one that knows all there is to know but I try everything before quitting! I hope this helps. Stay safe.

Next time and believe me there will be plenty of next times, you either wave that guy to move back or sit patiently making him even angrier because you're in the way till he moves back.I've never gotton a ticket.Don't work up a sweat making a turn because some moran won't moveBecause there may be a time you're trying so hard that you hit something.Just wave in a respectful way for the motorist to move back or let him go first because they just have to be in a hurry to go nowhere ,then proceed with your turn.

Was making a right turn on a small city road in El Dorado Ar a while back..
took some of the other lane, waited for the other road to clear, just as I was going to start.

A guy in a pickup wanted to turn left onto the road I was on, but he did not have enough room.
I had my turn signal on and pointed toward the right, but he just stared at me like I had 2 heads.
So I pulled my brakes folded my arms and shook my head..
After a couple minutes he finally got pissed and kept going straight.

The longer you're in this profession, the less you sweat the small stuff.
