Finally got a call from a local company back home (currently hauling in the oil field) today. They want to interview me tomorrow. My question is since its a driving job where its pretty physical having to lump my own freight all day, is nice boots, nice jeans and a shirt appropriate? Or should I go Dockers and boots? I don't want to under dress but it is for a physically demanding job so I don't want to over dress either. What do you think?

I'd go with the Dockers and boots. Jeans may seem a little relaxed.

You should wear a suit to it. It's a job interview. Or you could just wear a pair of jeans with a tie but I would go with a suit.

Really A suit?! If I had trucks and you walked in wearing a suit, I would be quite surprised.

Wear nice jeans (clean, no rips or tears) and a nice collared shirt (like a polo shirt) and a nice clean pair of boots.

Hell I've work a T-shirt and many interviews and have gotten jobs no problem.

If this is another driving position just dress casual. As long as you have good hygiene and clean clothes not ragged, they don't care.

    Think that was his point.

You only get one chance to make a first impression.

I'd wear Khakis or Black Pants ... not Jeans, and a button up collared shirt. Nice functional shoes, boots work, but no tennis shoes. Also cover up all visible tattoo's

I would also not wear a suit. Dressing up for a job interview is appropriate, but a suit may make a statement that you do not want to make. Most executive managers will not do the tasks that you will be assigned as a Driver ... but they would wear a suit to an interview or meeting.

Truck driving job or not, i would never wear jeans to a job interview. Remember, you are trying to sell yourself, Dress pants and a neat clean Polo or dress shirt. A suit isnt neccessary.
