If you had a cameraman follow you around for a week, what aspects of trucking would you highlight?

I'm a videographer who is going to be doing a ride along in a couple months, and I would love to use this opportunity to truly showcase what trucking is about. So the more suggestions the merrier.

Thank you all for everything you do!

What its like to need to use a bathroom and a shower yet you must park a half mile away because the mega lot wants you to pay for a place to park.

I think l would show them how ppor some of these inner cities and how much industry has left. I ran steel for a long time so l bounced around Detroit and Gary Ind and these industrial type cities. sometimes it was pretty depressing when you going through blocks of blight to pick up at a 100 year old warehouse. Then ypu go other places and money is no object and everything's brand spanking new. Thats just me anyways.

Traveling through Illinois on I-57 a notoriously slick road this time of year , some sucicidal 4 Wheeler passes me going down hill and hits his brakes , I touch my brakes and go into a 18 wheel slide , Off on off brakes , get wheels turning to gain traction and control , continue on down the road for another 8 hours or so .
Happened last week , typical event this time of year , maybe you can get some of that fun

That was yesterday up here for me on I-57 rolling south, From I-80 south past Kankakee was a skating rink
The whole Chicagoland area was hit with freezing rain, Idot said over 200 accidents with 4 fatalities.

Have a cameraman follow me in my industry for 30 days. This would than be sent to the FMSCA, DOT, and Governmental officials. Thus, they would see the true story of the industry , and the people whom move the goods they use every day.

Show how though we're limited on hours of service, we're detained for hours on end in truck docks.
