I have a vibration that shakes my left front fender mirror. It starts at about 53 or 54 and when it hits 60 it gets worse.

Its not in the motor I run the truck up to 70 mph, shifted to neutral, let the engine die down to idle, and the shake is still there...

I just got new steer tires, got them balanced and I also have centramatics.

We've looked everything over can't find anything that looks loose or worn out.

Could this be in the drive shaft? If it was the drive shaft would it show up in the front.

    Any suggestions.

Your Tire's where not balanced properly, have them recheck balance. I am 95% sure this is your problem.

Do you feel it in the steering wheel? Something is shaking the entire tractor. It could be ply separation in one of the drive tires. It could be a wheel bearing or hub.

If its only in the front on the one side may be improper ballance like tran man said or a problem with the tire its self
Check the obvious(tierods 'suspention, bearings etc) even the Lugs especially if it has hub piloted wheels also if it has aluminum wheels it may have slung one of the weights off (ex: Improper ballance)......If nothing else may have to move the wheel to another position on the truck to see if it changes location of the viberation...Just a suggestion

Great idea, that will tell us if the shake is in the wheel or not. We have had the shake through 3 different sets of steer tires all recent. but we never thought about moving the wheel around. yes he can feel it in the steering wheel when it shakes too.

    thanks much
