    There's a new outfitter working this part of the ranch this year. He came in on Tuesday and locked a gate that shouldn't be locked, left another one open and blocked a road with his pickup when he unloaded his side by side.

    I caught up to him to have a talk and he didn't seem to understand where he went wrong. I also told him we've had cows in this section all summer and we haven't seen a deer since June. Said he wanted to go look anyway. I told him if he does see one he better act fast, we're moving 400 head through first thing Friday morning.
