Austin will be difficult, not many truck stops at all.

Coming from Dallas, there are two places I suggest checking.

From I35 get off on West TX HWY 29. Before you reach Ronald Raegan BLVD theres an EXXON with room for a few trucks to park behind. My guess is most people dont know about it because it doesnt show on Truckers Path. Convenience store isn't 24 hours but they got good food there when they are open.

If its a no go, head down ronald Raegan blvd to Crystal Falls Parkway turn right and you will see a Valero just past the High School. There is room for a few trucks to park, I see them there parked off to the side closest to the school. That Valero is open 24 hours.

If both of those options are no goes there are two walmart super stores close by and as far as I know they are not truck proof.

Thats my neighborhood where I live. Its nice & quiet. As far as I know fairly truck friendly. Youll find something.

Account for really bad morning Austin traffic.

If you want to stop further north there is a rest area before you reach ronald Raegan. Dont count on the flying j. You might luck out but I stop there frequently on my way to the terminal and its always a madhouse.

I recommend stopping in Alabama. Then tell your dispatch, "Austin?? Oooohhhh, I thought you said Alabama. My bad."

Then they'll assign it to another truck.

There's a Valero on 71 in-between the airport and Bastrop. Would help a little if we knew where in Austin your headed.

I'd seriously consider leaving Dallas early in the AM and getting to your delivery location prior to 8. It's nasty here.

I would google earth your delivery and see if you have room. Austin is a fun city especially on a Thursday night.
