Watkins and Shepard out of Santa Fe Springs. If your have your CDL and depending your experience either a 3 or 10 day training in Missoula, MT then off into your truck no trainer. Been here 4 months and have no complaints they are awesome, LOTS of freight.

Thanks cage I'm gonna put in an app.

I got a couple of questions if you don't mind answering.

How's the home time and what kind of rigs does the company have?

When I was OTR I always got home when I wanted, I stayed out 3-4 weeks and took 3-4 days home.

Rigs are Volvos and Freightliners (Cascadia and Columbias mostly) I drove a 2005 Volvo GREAT truck once I worked out the bugs from previous driver who did not seem to care about maintenance or safety. It took 4 trips to the shop to resolve, I ran all the time just everytime I was in Helena, MT I would write stuff up until everything I wanted was fixed. DOT and safety things were fixed right away they they dealt with my "wants" :biggrin_25525:

Also check out the Watkins & Shepard DAC section several threads on 10 day experiences.

Low pay I work all week and barely manage to get a take home of 500 bucks, crappy health benefits.

    OK
Unfortunately that sounds like a lot of the jobs out there.
Where are you out of & what do you haul? I was talking to a Gardner driver in San Leandro last week that said he was pretty happy.
