Jesus. What may be a good company for one of us, will be a lousy company for another. All we can do is mention some companies, then YOU choose.
For me personally?
They are ALL lousy. But I have "done my time", and I CAN CHOOSE any "other company" not ever listed in these boards, to go to.
If we were to tell YOU where to go, and you are disappointed, you WILL blame us.
I see no confusion on our part.
There are SO MANY companies listed in the various threads here, what more can be said? Have you been reading all the pro's and con's of each? -
look at WEL Companies, nice KW's, APU's, Pull reefers...Dont worry about what there website says...they DO hire new drivers just call a recruiter. I dont work for them but there are quite a few on here that do. I have a freind thats been with them about a year now, he loves it there.

WEL is not hiring out of Florida "at this time", as of last week. Call May, PAM, Roehl,Swift, CCC, JBS, Trans Am and Stevens. Our instructors put a list of 30 companies on the board this week(in Florida). I'm not going to list most of them because of their BFI status and I'll just say this. No matter where you go, there you are, make the best of it. Many negative things are said about most companies that hire students by many negative people who mostly didn't learn in their 3 week school that "There's more to being a trucker, than knowing how to drive a truck."
Hope you did your homework before you plunked down that 6 grand.American-Trucker Thanks this. -
I started with USXpress. they treated me well had decent equipment etc. you wont make alot of money starting out but i think they are pretty good compared to some. the only downfall is auto trucks but alot of companies are using those now because they reduce driver fatigue and error. USXpress or Averitt are my picks

Don't go to work for any of them! Go to college! This is a dieing business. Its paying less every year. It is overpopulated with non English speaking foreigners who work for peanuts. And uneducated children who see this as thier only option other than micky D's. Go to college and in 20 years write me a Pm thanking me. I'll probably still be here. To old to change & its in my blood.
Gizmo_Man Thanks this.
