I have 1.5 years OTR Dry Van. I'm looking for a quality company to run for Dry or Reefer.
I don't mind being out 3 weeks at a time. but I want at least $1000 gross a week. I know Prime and Schneidier trucks are slow. My main concern is the miles/week.

I was leaning towards J.&R. Schugal. Any suggestions?

If you want $1000 or more a week, then go with a company that has a guaranteed minimum pay. Those companies you can make more than that amount, but not less.
    K&B Transportation - guaranteed minimum $1125.00 weekly
Westside Transport - guaranteed $1000.00 weekly and the guarantee goes up from there as the months go by. Can make more, but not less.
Magnum Ltd. - drivers make over a thousand a week and some as much as $1500.00 weekly.
    Where is your location?

Ok, look over those 3 companies I listed. You'll get the money you want with either.

A&A Express doesn't run northeast. Not sure you're in the hiring area. Not sure about the weekly pay, but it's something to research with some phone calls. Really nice trucks set up for driver comfort and so are the others I listed.
I'm with you on the weekly pay though; that's why I like the companies with the guarantee.

Never heard of A&A express, but will do some research. If I'm going to be out a month at a time driver comfort means alot. I'll see if they hire out of Atlanta..
I applied with Magnum and inquired with WestSide Transport.
    Thanks

J&R has a lot of freight out of ATL especially 800+ reefer loads. Going up to the north east, and mid west and north mid west. I worked there my first year and made 48k and moved on.

Driving the Northeast is okay as a company driver. The problem comes with owning your truck and driving up there. Tolls and high fuel cost really cut into your profits.

I worked for K&B. I do not recommend it but there are some folks who do. The pay is okay. You will make close to $60,000 there. They Micro Managed me and I believe they still do.
