will companys get the same mvr that i get ?

hey guys I want know if trucking company's get the same mvr that I would get I am asking cause when I was 18 or 19 I got a dui and when I went to court they gave me a few months to go to dui school I never went and they suspended my license until I did go which was 3 to 5 years later but the other day I went and got a mvr on me and it didn't show up so I am wondering if I should even tell any trucking company's that I got a dui 17 years ago again this was 17 years ago and I haven't drinked anything since then only takes me one time to learn my lesson lol

 

Full disclosure is always recommended. You dont want to work for dirtbags that would hold something that old over your head.

 

I can tell you from experience that things from your past show up in random places at random times...might not be on your MVR but it is somewhere else...just my experience for what it's worth. Don't think something that long ago will matter...but most do ask if your license has "EVER" been suspended.

 

ok cool well being it happened so long ago I don't rem the exact dates just the time will that be ok and I don't think my license were suspended they were revoked because I didn't go to dui school in the time frame the courts wanted me too

I cant see where 17 years ago would make a rats ... I mean a lot of drivers 23 only have 7 years driving history to analyze anyway. If its not on your DMV report from (that same state that you got revoked in and dui in) would forget to mention it. I think they only care about last 10 years (long as not bank robbery or murder ). Ive never heard of a truck company ganking someone over a license issue 17 years ago.

 

Oh forgot if its a state dmv report from the license bureau and same states report you got revoked and dui in Yes it'll show the same stuff as the DMV report they obtain on you.

 

well I only ever lived in Georgia so wouldn't the company's have to get a Georgia mvr it has been so long ago I just rem the judge giving me 90 days to go to dui school and that if I didn't go my license would be revoked or suspended im not real sure which one it was now and I never went so I lost my license until I did go to dui school which I did go about 4 or 5 yrs later lol I have gotten 2 mvrs on me one was in 2010 it didn't show up on that one the other was dec 13th of this year and it wasn't on that one either I even got a background check in 2010 and it wasn't on that either

 

I have applied to 2 trucking company's should I call them up and tell them about it ? cause I did get a background check in 2010 too and I think it showed up on that that I got caught driving with no license's in like 01 or 02 how far back do the background checks go?

 

When you say D.M.V. report. Do you Mean D.M.V. Abstract?. If so it tell"s you how far it goes back, the state i"m in is ten years, don"t know if it varies from state to state.
