Hi I’m about to enroll in truck driving school in Vegas and the school is a 6 month course, it costs 10K but you get your CDL after you graduate.

I guess like a lot of newbie drivers I’m worried about paying all that $$ and not getting a job.

In the last 3 years, I’ve had 2 moving violations. One was driving without insurance and the other was “running” a red light, I actually was going under the speed limit.

As far as accidents go, in 10 years that I’ve had my drivers license. I’ve been in 2 accidents. I was at fault for 1 and not at fault for the other. I’ve never had any DUI’s.

So my question is obviously based off of my driving record. Will any driving companies out there hire me?

    Thank you.

You’ll get hired somewhere, but $10k is WAY too much money.

Chihuahuas are like that, to a T. Mine loves to growl at me while whining and licking me. Tri-polar, I call it.

$10K?! I paid $4,300 to attend an accredited, 160 hour school.

If the ten grand includes room and board for the entire school period it might be worth it. Otherwise it's way too much money.
Check your local community college for driver courses.

6 months and $10gs...too much money and too much time. What do you get for all of that?

    "I get my CDL."

What else? The only way I'd do that is if I got a guarantee of a $75000 job, upon passing, and no having to ride with a trainer. If they're not doing that, shop around, I am certain that you can find a better deal.
