Will this ticket effect my chances of obtaining a cdl in NJ?

Hello all, thank you in advance for any advice you may have.
So I was an absolute moron a few months back, was texting while stopped at at traffic light, was eventually stopped and given a ticket for use of hand held wireless telephone. This fine came with a court date but I called the court the day prior to confirm and they could not fine the ticket # in their records. Long story short, I did not have to appear in court but I did plead guilty and paid the fine.
So could this hurt my chances of getting my cdl?
