That is horrible! A country as rich as the US sits there and lets a woman writhe in pain and die on the floor of the emergency room...WTF? UNREAL! That hospital needs to be sued for MILLIONS! I am normally against our "litigious" ways in the US, but that is flat ridiculous.

You can bet that lawsuit is all ready started. I would sue the hospital and the 911 operating service. There is no excuse for that kind of treatment. Imagine if that man (husband?) had not been in there with her. We would have never even heard about it.:biggrin_25513:

They said a second person called 911, and was told that the hospital was the medical professionals so there was nothing they could do about it. She was trying to get them to send an ambulance to pick the collapsed lady up from that hospital and take her to another one where she would receive treatment.:biggrin_25513:

You gotta figure that's par for the course in L.A.:biggrin_2552: After all this is a hospital in a town caught taking patients with severe mental conditions and dropping them off in the street, or in front of missions.:biggrin_2555: What else is it going to take for someone to be held accountable in what is surely an unfit health care system!:biggrin_25516:
