It's all part of his plan to be a global player, which he is in a big way.

I hear they only pay $1.00 mile for owner operators.?
They must take care of all other expenses.

From what I've been told by a couple former drivers and one current one (who is looking to go elsewhere), a lot of dock work. Seems like the people I've known were unhappy there. My friend at Estes loves his gig and has it made, so does the guy I know at Saia. One told me as much as 6-7 hours a night doing dock work, not for me.

On a personal note, Conway was extremely rude to me outta CDL school, after THEY contacted ME. I'd lose my house before I'd ever go work for them...

Don’t think you’ll be driving long distance for awhile on their Linehaul. To get a crappy Wamsutter Wyoming turn in my area it can take a decade to get that bid. You’ll be on the dock or short runs with dockwork for awhile BUT they pay very well and if your just starting out it’s IMO the best way then OTR or Mega carriers. People there that make 100k do their time. But it will pay twice as much as a mega carrier. It’s LTL carrier and one of the top LTL companies so it will pay good.

Age isn’t a number in LTL there are guys in the city running around in their 60’s.

Sorry for the mis relay.. I'm coming on with them for a dedicated run. I'm just hoping I get a manual. My mind in still stuck in manual. Not a big automatic fan
