if it is your first audit, as in the one they do just after you get your authority. they will just come in and see that everything is set up as far as you having your drug testing policy in writing with disciplanry actions spelled out. you have a system for recording your road and fuel etc. it's a token inspection but I don't know of a list I can point you to

When my brother and I got ours they sent us a list of what they wanted to see a couple weeks prior to the date they were coming out.

Here's some good material from JJ Keller:

I wouldnt worry to much about it they jsut want to look over your files and make sure you have everything in order. The first time is more like a class, were the officer shows you how to set everything up and in order so they dont have to waste a large amount of time when a real audit comes your way. Dont keep more than 6months worth of logs, they don't require more than that but will insepct and fine you if you have them. Oh and no fines will be written up on this visit so you can relax. I went thru it when my dad had his and the guy that does them here in Michigan is a cool guy, we went to his office and he even took time to talk to us about the road and showed us pictures of his racecar and a wreck he had been in a couple of weeks prior. So at least here it is very laid back but you must be formal in prestenting your paper work to him, have it organized and know were everything is
Ill look see if the check list that my dad got is still around in his stuff and Ill post a list if I do find it.
