| Hot Shot Work I am looking into starting my own hot shot business. I already have the truck, I am will be pulling with a 1ton dodge dually. My question is what do I do next? I know I have to come up with a name for my company, I know I have to get what's called a DBA from my local court house but after that I am kinda lost. Do I need a permit to run just the state of Texas? I will be doing local runs because I am a single mom and have to be home every night. If anyone has any suggestions or advice please let me know. Your time is appreciated! Thank You! |

| yah I'm checking into it now. I figured there would be a few more obstacles with a smaller truck but I don't have a big truck right now, maybe later on I will be able to afford one. I hope this will work, I am going to put in my best effort and go for it. I think eventually it will work out might just take some time though. |

| Good luck. It is a tough business, especially in Texas. Best to get a contract thru people/businesses you personally know.
