Prepass isn't a guarantee you will bypass a scale . They do turn it off from time to time . I've not gotten a green light at one TN scale and later in the day gotten the green light at another TN scale . If your carrier gets a bad safety rating they will have their prepass rights suspended .
Not all states use Prepass . KY uses Norpas but with that you just pay a one time fee , not monthly . There are services that will combine multiple systems .

It also kicks in a certain amount of "random" prepass to the sclaes.

$10.49 a month for prepass. Your "red light" rate is based on your carriers safety rating for the most part. The system can be overridden by the weigh station personnel. For example, they can turn it off completely, or can set it up for a larger random sample than normal. All in all, I love prepass and wouldn't truck without it.

PrePass data IS NOT SHARED with Law Enforcement
Your transaction data with PrePass is also discarded.
Its part of our contractor package so I do not know what it costs ?
It sure makes life easier when your not rolling across
the platform in front of the man.
These things REALLY SHINE on those 72 Hr beatdowns
just roll right past the jumpsuits and creepers LOL!!
