I use fax.com, its 10$ a month for 300 pages. Haven't had a problems, except in a few cases were I was at a truckstop and the internet connection was weak, then I had issues faxing a large document like contract, but I think that would be the same for any online fax company as its related to the crappy internet connection.I usually have the brokers email the contracts since there usually 5-10 pages (except CH Robinson its 20!). Then have the rate confirmations faxed to me. I digitally sign them then fax'em back to them. Then I pull the pickup number of the paperwork and print the rate confirmation later when I send it off to get paid.
I have not even come close to 300 pages. There are others, do a goggle search, they all pretty much do the same thing, they have different features.

The feature I like is that you get an email with the fax attached to it, so if I am on the road and accept a load I can have them fax it to me and it shows up on my blackberry email, I can look at it and make sure its correct, then pull the pickup info off of it. I just tell them I will fact the confirmation back to them that night. Go make the pick, and when I get to the truckstop (hopefully with internet access) digitally sign then fax it back to them.

Sorry this is long. I can tell you to digitally sign it but that takes up more time. I will tell you if you want me to, lemmee know.

Hey JasonTheRock....I saw you are using the D&S Factoring through Internet Truck Stop, Do you use their ITS Power Card for fuel or anything or do you just have your payments go straight to your own bank?

I use the bank transfer that costs a buck, regardless of how many invoices you send them. Its seems as though the fuel cards that you ask about charge you for everything (transfer to bank, fuel, atm, etc.)

I fuel at petro's, whenever possible, the let you use your debit card and you are charged the cash price. Otherwise I use the credit card. Before I leave on a trip I take cash with me for food and expenses. If I need to get $$ I stop at a wells fargo or wachovia. I just like having the money going straight into the bank account, it makes it easier to pay bills. I ran the numbers and figured out that it is cheaper to pay with cash and pay the credit price every now and then.

I wont say dont do it, but make sure you figure out ALL of the charges with these cards (there are a lot of "hidden" charges).

Thanks for the reply, thats pretty much waht i figured but I was curious if that one was any good. I cant stand transaction fees and ATM fees and all of that stuff. Thats pretty nice that Petro will let you use a Debit card like that. Anyways, thanks again for the info. Trying to learn all i can for this next year.

Hey Jason, how hard was it for you to start pulling loads off of the load board? Was it a difficult process? Did you have to make multiple attempts on multiple loads before you actually got one? or was it a one shot one kill type deal?
