it has been researched that it costs $1.62 a mile to operate the average truck anything less i would consider cheap freight
most owner operators are now just working for a paycheck most are not making a profit -
$1.62 permile seems a little high to me.
I run HH /OD and my cost runs around $1.59 permile all in -
where ya'll gettin your figures from?i figure 75 cents to operate,pay myself 40 cpm equats to1.15 anything over i put in the back

i should say i don't have a truck or trailer payment,i also base my math on 2500 miles a week 10000 month and 5 mpg

if u don't want me to haul cheap freight,then tell me where the high dollar stuff is and i'll haul it

thats what i thought,one of these days i'm goin to hollar at the truck displayin that sign and ask to see his pay check

as a matter of fact,the next time i see that sign i'm goin to as.Ooida likes to use that phase yet their membersedge board that i pay for, is full of ##### loads,talk about two faced.besides if i'm haulin cheap freight,then how did i pay for three trucks four trailers and 19 acre farm with a wife sittin at home lookin pretty for me
