hasnt been that long since i left them, i wouldnt go back, they are anal retentive, inconsiderate of the drivers that earn thier checks, and in general a royal pain you know where. besides, they just dropped thier govenors and are lowering them again, last speed i heard was 62. actual problems, they never got me by the house but promised to, my other half i happen to have met there had the same problem at that time. my truck had so many problems i couldnt get them all fixed, and they constantly ragged me about one thing or another. they had so many drivers leaving that they were checking some amount of trucks into the wax terminal daily, and had so many sitting in the indianapolis terminal you couldnt find a decent parking space most of the time. i havent met a driver yet that likes/liked them.

My hubby has been with them since March. Had some ups and downs, but that happens in this biz. You could do worse than Celadon. As with most companies, it depends on your DM.

With 3 years under your belt, you shouldn't have a problem getting on with them. My hubby only had three months when he started.

He has had no problems getting home when he requested except for once. They even got him home on short notice when I had to have some emergency dental work done. He wasn't home to take me in, but he was home shortly after I got done at the dentist, and that was with a days notice.

Also, you can't beat their vacation package.

There's a terminal in Greensburough, NC. Don't know how many DM's they have there, if any. Hubby says that one is more of an over-glorified drop yard. There is also one in Richmond, VA. All orientation is done at Indy though.

I don't know if you'll pull down that much. Even on a very good week, it wasn't quite that much. Miles have dropped some, but it's possible to pull around 3,000 miles a week still.

His truck is close to replacement time and has had things going wrong with it, which has been ticking him off some because it has cost him miles.
