All I am really saying is you must give all the facts not just onside of the facts... If it was not for the fuel surcharge O/O's would be bankrupt at Central except for the teams... My truck is parked and paid for... I have no expenses and I still make more than an O/O. |

About average is 700 a week. Sometimes more but not often. Dont plan on doing 3000+ miles every week, its just not gonna happen and that is no matter who you are working for. Weather, time of the year and economic pressures, damage to crops, new state and federal laws are somethings to look at. Hometime takes away from your average miles as well. (Not unless you dont ever plan on going home???) Dont be blind sided by the comment, there are reasons such as: you will get burned out faster, you will make more mistakes when you do alot of miles. Take it as it comes your life depends on it.. A steady pace will allow you to achieve your financial goals quicker. Until you have built up at least one year experience then you can go anywhere in the industry. Doors that were closed are now open to you. Time makes you more valuable and marketable.

Central Sucks I was leased to them for a year and had a beautiful W900 that i spent alot of money on. It was a great truck but a bad company, unless you team or train you wont make enough to survive if you lease. I could run 4k+ miles in a week and i wouldn't make $200 more than a 2,700mi check. They never had an answer to why that happened all the time. They aren't done with me either they found every possible (wrong) way to keep all the money i had saved in two accounts from me and then charged almost $600 to me when i turned the truck in at the yard on good terms with lots of extras in chrome and l.e.d. lights on the entire truck including marker and clearance lights along with freshly polished tanks steps and wheels. I have never seen anybody do that when they quit, they usually thrash the truck upon turning it in. Nobody treated me with respect there and the countless times that i made things happen to keep there name good with there customers, and running loads that didn't pay and shuttling trailers in and out of the Denver yard during the blizzards and got paid nothing and not even a thank you. THIS COMPANY PUTS A NUMBER ON EMPLOYEES NOT A FACE OR NAME! So there is my fair warning in a light and short explanation, I could go on for hours and so can many other employees that i know that no longer and some that still work there (though almost all have left and thats alot of people i know). We have left for the same reasons too!

Also The Turnover Rate Average Is 15 Drivers A Day, I Wont Tell You How Or Who I Got This From But I Guarantee Its Accurate Because I Got This Info From Someone In The Salt Lake City Terminal. ALSO YES THEY ARE MOVING EX C.R.ENGLAND EMPLOYEES IN!

Ummm....bull? I haven't seen more than 6 people leave since I got here monday. Also, if anyone complains about lack of miles, 9 times out of ten it is because they turn down short loads and usually with short hauls they have a long one waiting for you.

Also, unless they were laid off or have a nice shiny record and everything Central won't hire them.
