Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Thinking about it, I've got to get there to do my FAST interview, BUT this is the first day w/ a new dispatcher so in trying to not cause any waves... good to see drivers are up and trying to work. Just read over exciting (sarcasm) financial reports and it seems Conway is suppose to go into the new year strong (earnings per share projected to increase 252% in 1st quarter) so we either raised our rates alot (small chance) or Conway has a lot of freight in the pipe. Hopefully it will be a good year

**have since tried Taylor, no answer after 15 rings, no answer from QC, and no change to driver daily morning report in Joplin... Aparently office staff had one heck of a New Years eve party and are still recovering : ). 3 more hours till I get layover pay.

 

They won't mind. Taylor folks are some of the coolest, call them direct. Won't be no waves. Looks like Michigan is going to get.socked by some winter weather.

I called in this AM to get my walmart appt. # for Hope Mills NC after giving my qc 15 min without an answer...I think I got the lady that does the daily report lol ..so very little staff must be at Joplin ..you prob will get a DH dispatch Before the hour is up....

 

Yeah I like the folks in Taylor they are always mellow and nice, Apparently Conway counts today as a holiday so it's bare bones. It's pretty white in North West Ohio too. Still no DH info or a load , 1.5 more hours till I'm paid for sitting

 

Camped out in position A at the consignee in Bakersfield, Ca. This is a FCFS consignee that I have been to before. I was #6 out of our 7 drivers the 1st time I came here. Don't plan on that happening again. Spent the first 24 hrs at Wally World then limped on over. 8am appt tomorrow.

 

Waco, TX. deliver FCFS Cat load tomorrow. They start receiving at 10:00

I think it is a drop, but this isn't the one around the corner from TCS, this is over on business 77 North side of Waco.

 

Crashing at the Freight terminal at LAX, pu in Torrance tomorrow then back to Texas.
